In Honor of Dylan

Dylan Dylan

Dylan came to me as a foster dog six years ago and was eventually retired in my care. From the beginning we had a trust in each other and developed a special bonding. Dylan brought me many years of love, laughs, comfort and companionship.

I have many wonderful memories of him. He loved to go for walks, sit on the porch with me or play chase in the house with his "bone". He was such a special dog, gentle, kind and loving. I am so thankful and fortunate for the years I had with him and that he was in my care to live out the rest of his life. What a blessing he was to me!

At the end of every day I would say "Goodnight, Dylan. I love you sweet puppy dog" and now I wish him goodnight one last time.

RIP - Dylan

AARF would like to thank Pat for all the love and care she gave Dylan. He waited a long time to find the right home and he found his forever home with you.

We who choose to surround ourselves
with lives even more temporary than our
own, live within a fragile circle;
easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps,
we would still live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only
certain immortality, never fully
understanding the necessary plan....
