In Honor of Jinx

jinx jinx

RIP - Jinx

I just wanted to let you know that Jinx passed today..Unfortunately sometime during the night he had what Dr. Sarah believes to have been a stroke possibly resulting from a blood clot breaking loose and getting into his circulatory system or a brain tumor. He could no longer walk or stand and she said his heart murmur had gotten much worse, she made a house call to examine him and he was able to pass in his own bed on his favorite blanket.

We want to thank you for the time that we were able to spend with him and the joy he brought into our lives during the time we were lucky enough to have him. He turned out to be one of the gentlest , most loving dog we had ever encountered.

Thanks again for bringing him into our lives and for all the fine work you do with AARF

AARF would like to thank you for all the love and care you gave Jinx. He waited a long time to find the right home and he found his forever home with you.

We who choose to surround ourselves
with lives even more temporary than our
own, live within a fragile circle;
easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps,
we would still live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only
certain immortality, never fully
understanding the necessary plan....
